Samantha and Jolene, two best friends and indie comic book creators, are approached by a high end executive who wants to take control of their characters and promises them the fame they've always desired.
Samantha is the upbeat optimistic writer and Jolene is the introverted artist who designs the characters in the world they both make come to life. Their friendship is put to the untimate test when Samantha wants to take the offer from the executive, but Jolene refuses. Samantha must decide what is more important: friendship or her dreams.

"I've always loved comic books. They've always been important to me since I was a kid. They were a source of great comfort and really fueled my imagination. Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Jerry Siegel, Joel Shuster, Bob Kane, Bill Finger, so many individuals who created these legandary icons have such rich stories of their own to tell. This is like my love letter to all the great writers and artist who made these great characters. It also is me commenting on the divide between men and women in comics and there are barley any superhero films with women in the lead role so I wanted to change that. I have a lot of female influences in my life--my mother, my friends, my aunt, cousins, grandmother--so I really wanted to tell a woman's story in a medium and style they don't get as much coverage as they deserve. This is my chance to combine a coming of age story, a buddy comedy, and a superhero film all in one"- Richard Fink, Director and Writer.
