All-in-1 Solution for Reptiles and Amphibians and Keepers!
"Hi, before I continue on to tell you about what this amazing enclosure can do for herptiles and you, I just want to say that If you like what you see, then I need you to help support us in our solution for herptile housing that has never been solved before, by pre-ordering them so that they can reach the production line. I've spent a lot of money and years to get to this 3rd generation design and then ran out of money. We need to pre-sell in the amount of our campaign target in order to cover the cost of tooling and the production of the product units themselves. If this campaign reaches its secondary target, we will donate 10% + 10% = 20% of every years profit to USARK and animal rescue organizations in your area. Thank you in advance for your support and help us spread the word!" Tommy Leong
Expanding Horizons Series
![]()
The Expanding Horizons series is a modular enclosure system designed for reptiles and amphibians as well as for their keepers. Each unit is ~30gals (27"L x 18"D x 20"H) by volume. There are 4 different models...
- EH3005 - Base Unit with a 5" high subtray
- EH3008 - Base Unit with a 8" high subtray
- EH3002 - Base Unit with a 2" high subtray [Coming Soon]
- EH3000 - Vertical expansion unit w/o tray
Creatability
The modular rear terrain pieces are made from resin and are textured to ensure gripping and are interchangeable, allowing for a sturdy way of mounting accessories such as ledges, caves, waterfalls to create the terrain you want. Most of the terrain pieces can be flipped around, changing its features and looks. Here are the available pieces with more designs on the way. All electrical wiring are outside the enclosure. For example, a heating mat may be inserted into the ledge piece from the rear or the waterfall piece with direct inflow and outflow access built-in.
These terrain pieces are not just a background. They extend themselves into the habitat for use by its inhabitants.

Maintainability
![]()
Each base unit comes with a subtray that slides out for cleaning without the emptying of the whole enclosure to get to the bottom. They are similar to the slide out trays in your refrigerator but a tad thicker and are available in 3 different heights, 2" - 5" - 8". [ 2" Coming Soon]

Accessibility is the key in simplifying maintenance. The front and side panes are designed with self-locking safety. The front pane has a spring-loaded squeeze triggered auto-locking system with auto-stopping at 4 different positions. The side panes requires the release of a latch before it can slide out and will auto-lock when it is slit back into position. We will provide greater detail of our special locking system once the prototype is made and patent is filed.

The 'Oasis' [Coming Soon] is an optional standalone terrain accessory that is placed inside the subtray (or your existing terrarium) to separate the substrate it is holding from its surrounding substrate, thus allowing for 2 different types of substrate in your sub-terrain. The Oasis has a 2-part system, the upper and lower container, that allows the removal of its content substrate without disturbing its surrounding. This makes maintenance even more simple. A nice example would be rough substrate on the outside and water on the inside or vice-versa.

The size of the Oasis is 13"x 13"x 5"
Expandability
Each enclosure unit is 30 gal by volume (27"L x 18"D x 20"H). Any base unit can be expanded with any other base unit to the sides (unlimited) and/or to the top (max 3 high) with the EH3000 which do not have a tray.

The base units may also be stacked with another base unit on top with the 'Light Canopy' separating the two, allowing for lighting of the lower unit.
When expanded to the side, a major benefit is created. The inhabitants do not need to be removed for maintenance. Just slide back in the side pane and clean one side while the its on the other side. This is monumentally advantageous for keepers of venomous species.

Unit Power / Unit Air
These two options are attached to the side of any of the units. [Coming Soon]
'Unit Power' organizes the wiring similar to a power strip and designed with the receptacles in the back and neat power switches in the front with labels. No more reaching for on/off switches all over the place.
'Unit Air' will be a big help in controlling the climate inside the enclosure. The inflow and outflow vents can be mounted onto any of the 12-slots in the rear panel, controlling the area where the hot or cold air enters and circulates and where you want it to exit. Since our enclosure has protruding terrains, airflow can be directed with the help of the strategic placements of the terrain pieces. The strength of the heat is adjustable as well as a temperature target where the heat will turn off when the temperature is reached at the outflow vent's sensor. The inflow heat fan and outflow exhaust fan are independently controlled. Inflow and outflow air can be ducted 'in from' or ducted 'out to' anywhere you need, even out the window.
Miscellenous Accessories
-
Cable & Wiring Clips (4) (included in all units)
-
Anti-Ant footings [Coming Soon]
-
Fine mesh additional cover (included with EH3008)
-
More Terrain pieces will be available soon...
Note: All the 'Coming Soon' items will be listed around 3 months after campaign becomes a success (fingers crossed) as we will need the COG on these.
Shipping
The pricing of the perks includes the shipping cost by airfreight from the factory in China to your door. For the EH3005, $150 was included and for the EH3008, $190 was included. This shipping cost was reduced by almost 50% by making the units knockdown, so some assembling is required but not to worry, it's only 8 angles nuts totaling 16 screws. We will do a video demo before we ship the first batch.
Product Specs
The main structures of the enclosure uses 30mm T-slot aluminum profiles plus many custom extruded and die-cast aluminum parts. The viewing panes are made from 4mm tempered glass.

Terrain Molds
These are the master plugs to be used in forming the molds for the terrain pieces. As you can see, they are not small. These originals are made of real rocks bonded together with cement and white glue.
This Campaign
Who are we? Who am I? Why should you trust me?
I would ask this question if I were you. I'll do my best to ease your concerns. I'm a former American who went into Indonesia to find a tree for pet parrots. I said former because I married a wonderful Indonesian girl and living in this somewhat wonderful country. Okay, a little bit about what I've done...
Founded the company PT Lekong in 2001 that makes the 'Java Tree Perch' for pet parrots now available at PETCO
-
1st generation design reptile enclosure (named Reptile Javarium) was awarded 2nd place at the 2012 SuperZoo pet expo in the new product showcase for reptile products
-
2nd generation design in 2013 was approached by a major competitor for an OEM pricing
-
I invested $200,000 of my own money into the 1st and 2nd generation design and 10+ months in the design of the new 3rd generation.
What we're going to do with the money?
According to many experts in the field of reptiles, there isn't any commercially made enclosure in the market suitable to keep reptiles. Well, we've been trying to change all that! We will need the support of the reptile keeping community to help make this happen. Our campaign requires the pre-selling of 1,040 units in order for the Expanding Horizons Series to be born. Our final target will be the pre-selling of 4,000 units to be completely standing on its own. This amount includes the production of 4,000 units and inclusive of their shipping cost to you + prototype + molds. This is what we are going to do with the money at the end of this campaign depending on what level of contributions is reached.
-
Below $520,000 - If we do not reach this amount, we will not be able to get to the point of production and will return your contributions.
-
$520,000 - This was the amount that we initially needed, free and clear, to bring us to the point where the molds can be completed and about 300 initial production units made. But because we must take into consideration the COGS, the included shipping cost and fees, the total contribution became our target amount. The 1st 300 units will be made and shipped but the other 740 units will be shipped at a slow crawl as we must wait till we make new sales and use the profits from those sales to pay for the production of the owed units.
-
$1,000,000 - The 1st 1,500 units will be shipped as they become ready but the last 500 units will be delayed until money is available to produce the units.
-
$2,000,000 - Target reached! All 4,000 units will be shipped as they become ready. If we had an investor, we would have at least given up 20% of the company. Since we all did it together and you saved us that 20%, we will give to save others and donate every year, 10% of our profits to the USARK and 10% to animal rescue organizations in your area.
Whether we fall short or exceed the amount of this campaign, we will continuously update you, the process from prototyping onward with photos. We want to have feedback, suggestions and ideas from you in the future development of our product line. We want to thank you all for the trust and belief in us and our product line.
