Flat Tire is a chilling drama about a stranded woman, a good Samaritan, and a much too familiar roadside dilemma. Brace yourself for unexpected turns, including everyday philanthropy and clashing motives. Getting a flat is only the beginning.
The first script for Flat Tire was written back in 2011, and it was on a flash-drive up until being found in 2014. After revising the script and showing it to a few others, the film went straight into pre-production. Now we look to you all to help us make this film!
Basically, this is what we need :
- This is entirely a student production. And the biggest obstacle for student productions is funding. Flicker Film Society does a lot to raise money for Us student filmmakers have a lot of ideas for films but we're unable to make them due to funding.
With this campaign, it will be benefiting the film and future productions at Flicker Film Society.
- Being a production of Flicker Film Society, we need equipment to make our film productions possible. We've got decent equipment at Flicker, but some of it is missing, damaged and/or not working. Funds will be used to repair our current gear, and to also get any new gear that will be necessary for the shoot.
- Funds will also be able to provide craft services for the cast and crew during the 4-5 days of filming.
- All remaining funds, and newly acquired gear, will be donated to Flicker Film Society.
Other Ways You Can Help
Right now, funding and promoting the film is key. If any extras are needed, we'll let you know on the Facebook page.

The perks for contributing are a little basic. We wanted to get the indiegogo campaign started as soon as possible so I didn't get to add some details about what you get in return. So I'm adding this:
- Anyone who contributes $50 or more will receive a personalized thank you letter, not an email. I feel that actually writing a letter shows how much I appreciate someone's generosity. I've written thank you cards to relatives for years and it seems more polite to do.
- Anyone who claims the executive producer and co-producer perk will have the choice of joining the cast and crew for a production wrap party, or getting coffee with all of us.
- Also, anyone who contributes $50 or more get's an IMDb credit.
5 LUCKY PEOPLE WILL RECEIVE A POSTER SIGNED BY THE CAST AND THE DIRECTOR
- Everyone who contributes is entered, no matter how much you contributed. But only five will receive the prizes.
