As a self taught artist for 30 years I have had the pleasure of working on many of the properties from the comic and movie industries. This sketchbook will include some of my best work. Hello, welcome to my first Indiegogo campaign.  My name is Gary Shipman, and I have been making art for 30 years working on comics, movies and other properties. I'm probably best known for my comic book series Pakkins' Land that was nominated for Eisner, Harvey, and Russ Manning Awards. My work has been published through Disney Publishing, Caliber Press, Image Comics, Alias Comics, Cryptozoic, and Zondervan. I have been exploring different styles of art throughout my adult life, with no formal art training. My wife Rhoda and I have beed married for 30 years and have 3  beautiful children.

I'm just an artist trying to share a little beauty where I can. You are the biggest part of what I do, my expression in art means nothing without your contribution. I do what I do for you.

My goal is to provide a quality product for you and I hope that you are as excited about this campaign as I am.
