WHY A MUSIC VENUE?
Hello fellow music lovers! My name is Brittany Crooms, Owner and Managing Director of Gypsy Rose Music. First, a little bit about myself. Sweet and simple, my happy place is dancing at a show. The outside world just fades away and I become fully and joyfully enmeshed in the present moment. It is truly my soul food, and I love to ride that beautiful post-show high for days! Music has the unique ability to transcend language, bridge multiple generations, cross boundaries & bring people together like nothing else. I wanted to create community where the music lovers and musical magicians UNITE, immerse themselves in the music and forget about the rest of the world for a while. I fully support the dreams and growth of musicians who are dedicated to crossing these boundaries, thereby enriching the community and culture in the city that I love; the community that has become family to me.
I have often craved somewhere in this wonderful community where my love of music can come to life. Roswell does not currently have a venue devoted specifically to original, live music… so the seed was planted. The more this plan grew, the more the community came together to support the idea, demonstrating a high demand for this type of establishment in our community. The support and positive feedback from roswell citizens and business owners has been overwhelming, not only on social media, but in person as well. The general consensus is that we can't open fast enough!
It is also important to me that the team working together at GR feels like a family… all working toward a common goal, each passionate about music, musicians, our community unification and positive vibes!
WHAT WE NEED AND WHAT YOU GET
Here's where we need your support! In order to enrich and unite our community through the art of music, we need to raise funds which will go directly towards necessary building renovations costing upwards of $150,000. The interior requires full renovation to optimise the music experience for both our patrons as well as our musicians. This includes custom stage and lighting, state of the art sound system, 24ft custom bar, new flooring, electrical, HVAC, sprinkler system, and additional insulation for optimal sound. On the exterior, we will build a new deck and landscaping for enjoying food, beverage and music outside.
We are passionately committed to making this dream a reality for our incredible city. Our goal is to raise $100,000 from generous members like you, who share in our vision of bringing live music and amazing energy to this community. Your contributions are what will ultimately bring this vision to life!
