My name is Ebrahim Shaar, I'm a Syrian refugee. I just turned 18 years old and I need your help to get out of this refugee camp.

Since March 15th, I have been trapped in the camp of Ritsona in rural Greece. For months I lived in a tent in a forest, exposed to rain, animals like snakes and wild pigs, poison water and diseases like Hepatitis A.

From my city of Idlib, I escaped Assad bombing. My house and entire neighborhood are destroyed, and many in my family are in hiding. My father is in Germany, I am trapped in Greece and my family is scattered across the world.

It will be months before I get asylum status, if I am lucky and do get it. I need help to move out of this camp and into Athens; It is legal for me to leave the camp, I just need some money. Then I can keep learning English and study. I hope to become a doctor.
