Hi,
My name is Bashar Elhabbash. I'm a British Palestinian residing in the UK.
My brother Muhammad Alhabbash is a musician, music composer and music teacher. His family currently lives in central Gaza. His daughter Reema is also a musician, she plays a Middle Eastern instrument called Qanun. His wife Safa, and his two daughters Reema and Mariam are going through a horrifying experience as consequences of ongoing war on Gaza.
So I am initiating this campaign in order to help them evacuate to somewhere safe out of Gaza.
The cost of exiting Gaza via Rafah (into Egypt) is USD5,000 per adult, USD2,500 per child. So we're trying to raise USD 20,000 for 3 adults and 2 children,
Once they reach Cairo they will apply for visa to other country which will take some time , the rest of the money will be used to cover their basic living expenses there until they receive a favourable response for their visa application, and finally to pay for their flight tickets.

Hello to our cherished friends and fellow music enthusiasts,
I am Mohammed Al Habbash, a musician from Gaza and, most importantly, a proud father of two incredibly talented girls. Our family's love for music binds us together, with our gifted 12-year-old daughter, Rima, excelling on the Qanun, and our precious 7-year-old Mariam blossoming as a pianist.
In our musical journey, my wife Safa has been the creative force, capturing our family's harmonies and sharing them on social media. Our home resonates with melodies – I play the oud, compose music, and dedicate myself to teaching the joy of music to children in Gaza.
As a father, witnessing Rima's skillful Qanun performances and Mariam's enchanting piano renditions fills me with immense pride. Their dedication to music not only showcases their talents but also serves as a source of hope in the midst of challenging times in Gaza.
Now, facing the urgency to secure our family's safety, I am reaching out to you for support. Your generous contributions will fund our evacuation, providing a secure haven for Rima, Mariam, Safa, and myself to continue our musical journey and share our melodies with the world.
