Why A Campaign? 

Now we have a chance to give our little piece of magic a permanent home. Our landlords have agreed to sell us our building. That means we’d not only have a permanent space but the ability to build out a dope patio in the side yard to support arts, events and community building all through the summer. It also gives us five apartments that help us create affordable housing in our city--so important for artists, families and those of us with big dreams on the horizon.  

The Deets.

To buy our building we need just $30,000 more to cover our down payment. By pitching into our campaign you get access to some pretty awesome perks and a chance to ensure that this amazing space can thrive. 

We're going all or nothing because we believe in the power of our village, we have to raise the full $30,000 (or more!) and because we've only got 30 days to make it all happen.

Your Imprint.

Anyone who has been to Dovecote knows that it's far more than a cafe. We are a space for people to explore their gifts, build community with others and invest in our folks. There are not enough spaces where we can see and experience the fullness of Black joy everyday. From yoga to our free community shop and produce pop up our community comes together and shows out.
