Short Summary
When I was a child I knew I'd be a musician. I studied violin, voice, piano as far back as memory will allow and attended Boston Conservatory as a Vocal Major, until I ran out of money, had to leave, and began working as a photographer in NYC. It has always been my hope that I could return to music some day, and over this past few years slowly it has begun to happen. I've had opportunities making music with many bands, and songwriters, I've also co-written songs with many young Vocalists here in the New York area and across the US. I've been quietly making a name for myself, and now it's time for me to make the next step.
I've spent the past two years writing in the hopes of making my own EP and pursuing a career as a singer-songwriter, and this is your opportunity to be involved in my beginning. With your help I can make this EP a reality, and subsequently bring the music I've been creating to the audience it deserves.
Though recording is expensive, this music I've been pursuing, is all I've ever wanted of my life. Help me begin this journey.
What I'm asking & What you get in return
How your contribution will be used:
- Studio costs are essentially the bulk of the money we need to raise, however that cost is the most important, having enough time in the studio to record and re-work all the songs into a cohesive concept is difficult. It can often take much longer than expected, and it's important that most of the work be done in one set of consecutive days to keep focused and in the moment.
- Other portions of the funds I'm raising will go towards Mixing and Mastering costs, taking the recorded sections of music and blending them together into the perfectly balanced recordings we're all used to hearing.
- if you contribute to this you will be solely responsible for funding my first EP, the credit for which will go entirely to you, as will my perpetual gratitude for your help
- There are many perks available such as discounted Photoshoots (particularly discounted in comparison to what I usually charge for dance photoshoots) not to mention recordings of original demo's so you can experience the evolution of each song.
- I will be posting periodic videos of me working through the ideas and concepts of each song that will end up on the EP leading up to the recording period!
- If I don't reach my entire goal I will use whatever I raised toward achieving this goal, possibly on a smaller scale.
