Hello Friends!           

For those of you who don't know us, LAPÊCHE is a New York-based band made up of passionate and caring, lifelong musicians. Making music is our way to be creative, to be of service, to build human connection, and hopefully, to bring a little joy to others. So, basically, writing songs makes us happy. We've been a self-funded, hard-working band since 2016 and as of late, have our noses to the grindstone, writing and refining new music for our next album.  We've put our hearts and souls into everything we've accomplished thus far but to take this next leap, we are going to need your help...

Last year, we connected with Grammy-nominated producer, Alex Newport, after we discovered he was a fan. Alex has worked with some amazing bands (At-The Drive-In, Mars Volta, Death Cab for Cutie and Moaning, to name a few) so you can imagine our excitement when he expressed interest in working with us.

Since our first meeting, we've become fast friends and collaborators, eagerly awaiting the opening of his new studio in Yucca Valley, CA.  Well, that time has come!  Future Shock Studio is now open and we now have the opportunity to record our next album at this amazing locale.

This a Fixed Goal Campaign, which means we will only receive funds if we hit our goal by its deadline. We’ve set our monetary ask at a bare minimum of what we’ve budgeted for recording and production.

With your support, we can realize this incredible opportunity, without diving further into debt or the need to take a monetary advance from a record label, allowing us more creative control and empowering us as artists. 

We don’t ask for your support lightly and we do so as humbly as we are able, recognizing that your money could go to so many other worthwhile things.  That said, we invite you to become as involved as you feel comfortable. There are a wide range of tiers attached to "perks", each as a sincere "thank you" for your support. (*If no perk interests you, you can still help out. In addition to the perks that go along with each tier, a percentage of all money raised will go to support the incredible work of Too Young To Wed, a non-profit organization fighting to end forced child marriage.  You can learn more about their mission at www.tooyoungtowed.org.
