What is It Only Hurts When I Laugh?
After learning one of his regulars signed him up for a stand-up gig, Isaac, a shy 20 something realizes he’s got what it takes to kill in comedy — literally!
This short film highlights the complications and debilitations that self-doubt has on a person when reaching for their lifelong dreams. In a strange twist of fate, Isaac realizes he DOES have what it takes to kill an audience. This storyline, developed through comedy, portrays the importance of self-respect, self-esteem, creativity, confidence, and the courage to reach for a dream — no matter what's stopping you.

We are Puerto Rican, Pakistani twin brothers from East Chicago, Indiana. Currently, we're both at Flashpoint Chicago earning our BFA in Cinema with a discipline in directing. We eat, sleep, and breathe entertainment. Both on set and off, we strive to build communities and networks with our films. As you'd imagine twins would, we work extremely well together.
