SHORT SUMMARY
Welcome to the competitive world of Jewish dating in Los Angeles. We want to give you an inside look to the earliest occupation (and art) in history; Matchmaking. Kismet is a comedy about premiere (or so she claims) matchmaker, Becky Berkowitz, who is determined to take on, and fix up, a new city filled with powerful and influential jews.
WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT TO US
This project is a little piece of our childhood. It is a little piece of us, and it is a story we want to tell. Working on Kismet together has been an extremely special experience, and we want to continue on this journey and to share it with all of you!
The message of Kismet is one that we believe in for everyone, but mostly is for women. Becky looks to everyone and everything outside of herself for reassurance. She is a woman who has spent her life wanting to be liked more than she wanted to be herself until she finds something greater to stand for. Kismet means destiny, and to us, this is a story of what can happen when you stop trying to control everyone and everything, including fate.
We also just want to make people laugh!

Making funny stuff isn't as cheap as when we used to put on Purim musicals for our Catholic grandmother! We are asking for a total of $12,000. Your donations to the campaign will cover the following:
