Short Summary
We are Cracked Brain!!! What started out as a weekend hobby podcast has grown so much over the last year. Cosplaying is a passion that all of us share; as a way to challenge ourselves to create and embody a character with our own hands and creativity. Now, we want to take our vision higher. Our goal with this campaign is to actualize dreams that we have all had since childhood.
Brandon and Candace went to school to attain degrees in animation and game design. After attaining those degrees, the market for those endeavors left our area. And for the last few years, those skills have remained fairly unused. Stephan has dreamed of being a professional voice actor since he was 5 years old. Although he has been able to do some voice acting work in the past, work is exceedingly hard to come by. So, instead of trying to look at others to POSSIBLY join, we want to create our own content to use the skills we've tirelessly worked to enhance. This campaign is will hopefully enable us to purchase the needed hardware and software to create the animated show, web comic, and other content that we want to create.
What We Need & Your Rewards
We've spent many hours figuring out what we will need in order to bring everyone the best content we can. Optimizing the computer set ups we already have and getting the equipment needed to bring our original ideas to light.
- We've calculated that the minimum to get the bare essentials of what we'll need will be around $5000. The low key home studio set up for audio production that we're planning to use, is about $2700 with the components alone (Condenser microphones, A quality mixer board, mics stands, sound insulation, etc). The rest is going toward getting the computer components needed to ensure quality animation production, 3D imaging, audio engineering, and more.
- For the past few months, we have been looking for as many different "rewards" to offer, as possible. For all physical items, we've contacted local companies about a variety of different products. A goal of ours is to offer the most fun products that we can offer AND support local artists and companies at the same time.
- If we are not successful in achieving our projected goal, we plan to use whatever donations received to purchase the necessary components that we will be able to use.
Another Way You Can Help
Times are tough for all of us. And sometimes we just don't have the funds available to help out monetarily. But there is another way that helps out JUST AS MUCH. Let as many people know about this campaign as possible. Talk about us with friends and family. Share it on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and any other social media platform.
