Stephen Thomas
Stephen Thomas plays the role of the Master of Alchemy, a scientist with decades of research behind his back. His life-long quest is to find the right formula to create the philosopher's stone but will he and his apprentice, William achieve their goal before running out of time?
Stephen Thomas has attended the classes of Act Up North Manchester while he has been working on various short films and providing his amazing voice to several other projects. He always brings an outstanding performance even in the most emotionally demanding roles.

Iain Rodrick plays the role of William. The young and ambitious apprentice helps the master in discovering the secret formula of the philosopher's stone. However, the dark powers of the stone seem more appealing to him than the significance of their research.

The Manchester Film School
We are an award-winning film school in the North-West of the UK. Our recognition includes 7 wins and 17 nominations at the "Royal Television Society, North-West Students Awards". Many of our Alumni work within the film & TV industry, having been employed in productions such as James Bond, Harry Potter, Downton Abbey and Dads Army.
The Manchester Film School covers our spending on talent; however, our ambitious set build requires additional fundings. We are building the set ourselves investing our own money and effort in the project. The art department is still in desperate need of props and resources. We are hiring some speciality furniture from a prop house. While the team tries to opt for the cheapest solutions, some of the items we need are very specific to the period and thus, might a little bit more.
Also, we have four shooting days during which we have to feed our cast and crew. Whatever remains from our campaign will be spent on food and travel expenses.
