The Aquarium Steampunk Reading Room is the largest private, independent, green marketing research & reference library in the country.

Why we need your support
Rent in Fairfield County is expensive. While already partially funded by silent contributors, it is no longer enough to cover all its expenses.
The library is open to the public by appointment. It is a permanent collection, materials do not circulate, are always available in their integrity to researchers traveling long distances to come visit.
Who benefits
Countless companies, groups, activists, organizers have benefited greatly from the intellectual environment provided by the space. Unlike surfing the net, the physical experience of holding printed materials, touching photographs, inspires.
The Aquarium was slang for think tank at the KGB, the old Soviet Union spy agency.
The entire space is lit with daylight LED tubes.
