Miss Kitty's Kitchen is located in Marin County just minutes from San Francisco. Marguerite Holloway, owner and aspiring entrepreneur, has been baking all her life -an ingrained skill passed on by her mother and grandmother while growing up on a large sheep station in rural Central Otago, New Zealand. After many years in the restaurant business in California, Marguerite was invited to make desserts for an established seafood restaurant in Marin County. Her signature, Lemon Meringue Pie became a huge hit with the patrons. Many customers would place their order for the pie when they made their reservation! And then came along Marguerite's to-die-for-Pavlova. Paired with a dry champagne, this Kiwi-made Pavlova is "unparalleled decadence." After realizing how very popular her downunder recipes were becoming, Marguerite created Miss Kitty's Kitchen, - named after her beloved cat who passed in 2012 and in honor of her New Zealand heritage.
The purpose of Miss Kitty's campaign is to expand business throughout the San Francisco Bay Area in the following revenue generating channels:
- product sales to local cafes, restaurants, and individual customers.
- online sales for shipment anywhere in the US.
- local Farmer's Market community, a widely popular source for organic food products in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Miss Kitty's Kitchen needs your help to make this dream come true. So, we are asking for your financial support! If you are unable to give $, just spread the word!

Food Source
Most of all know that there is no better way to compliment a terrific meal than to add terrific ending, a great dessert. In an area of devoted foodies people are constantly seeking out new and exciting foods and love to support small local business. Miss Kitty likes to use local organic ingredients to make sure people get the best of the best. We also import specific items from New Zealand like the golden syrup and Edmond's baking powder to keep our recipes as authentic as possible. Since we use alot of eggs we definately support local free range egg suppliers from happy hens. We are convinced that they just taste better and there yolks are a little brighter. Soon to be a member of Marin Organic's.
Now and the future
Presently Miss Kitty is celebrating the America's Cup celebration in the Bay Area with her fellow Kiwi's. This is a great opportunity to share and promote the food of New Zealand in every aspect. Upon raising our goal the Miss Kitty crew will expand into all types of kitchen accessories ie aprons, tools, recipe books. Also, upon being a part of the Farmers' Market community we will expand into jarred preservatives. Preservatives would include jams, sauces, pickles and chutney's.
