"You remember when.."
I used to be a gamer. Metal Gear Solid, Grand Theft Auto. I was a big Madden fan. I had Madden 94 (Nintendo) All the way until Madden 09. Then--i stopped. Everyone asks what happen. I tell them Life Happened- I.E. Marriage, Divorce, Kids, etc. I haven't pick up a controller in years. During conversations with various people where I acknowledge my evolution from being a young adult with no responsibility to a grown man with kids I often find myself daydreaming about the good old days, Wishing Doc. Brown would scoop me up in His Delorean and take me back to 2005 before life got complicated.

Maybe the sneakerheads are on to something. Are they collecting Sneakers..or memories for safekeeping?
Perfect ideal to explore in the form of a Romantic Dramedy (Drama-Comedy) right?
I think the Culture of The Sneakerheads would be the perfect backdrop for a film exploring past relationships. The Film begs the question to all those who are engaging in activities meant for those with minimum responsibilities-Are you ready to grow up and leave your adolescence self behind?
My last film "Directing Love Scenes" (www.DirectingLoveScenes.com) *Shameless Plug* Was my first foray into Independent Filmmaking. Self Finance, and Short Manned, but it was a great experience. But it was stressful. Wearing multiple hats worry about if we have enough in the budget to finish the day-It was exciting! But This film-This culture deserves a Feature Film With a decent Budget.
So what we need from you..
To start up basic production we will need at least 15000. Covering the actors and actresses pay, location, equipment. Being I been around the block of filmmaking I know what it takes to stretch out a budget-This is what we would need to at least start shooting scenes.
We have very unique perks from Movie Posters, to T-Shirts, and even a chance to be feature in the film! Huge Deal for those sneakerheads with deep following! Check out the video in the gallery for reference.
If we don't reach our goal we will use the funds to shoot a longer version of the short film we already had shot in hopes it will garner enough interest from private investors.
..."I'm all about the Culture.."
Honestly, I'm an outsider of the sneaker world, but being that their influence is so big I believe it needs the mainstream attention. And While the overall them of the film is the Romantic Genre, I never seen a film where Sneakers were a part of the storyline like this. I do have *Ahem* IMDB Credit-but more than credentials, I have belief in this project.
Indie Filmmaking is Hard-Honest Truth
It's impossible to get an independent picture made at a major studio. They want those Franchises that have international appeal. I get it. But I'm not one of those people who will whine about the film industry-Instead I will be proactive.
We can't guarantee success, box office sales, popularity, etc.
But I can guarantee putting out good quality work no matter what our budget is.
