For the love of the craft and the community
Welcome to New Main Brewing Company! We're David and Amanda, two homebrewers with a passion for brewing and a love of our local community. About four years ago, we started exploring the basics of brewing in our garages and backyards. We started The New Main Blog to capture that fledgling beer nerdery and share what we were learning. It’s that love of the craft that led us to realize we don’t just want to share beer, but an experience and an education about the magic of brewing.
A round of funding from close family and friends (including a fellow Eagle Scout from back in the day) has enabled us to open a brewery in the heart of the DFW metroplex, the craft beer community we’ve come to know and love. We've secured our brewery location in Pantego, a small town nestled in Arlington, Texas, just off Spur 303 – Pioneer Parkway. We are excited to create an outstanding facility, not only for producing delicious craft beer but for bringing in our community to share a good time over a pint or two, and learn about beer in the process.
That’s where y’all come in!

Our dream is to build an outstanding taproom and beer garden where beer fans can come relax, sample a variety of our main recipes alongside the new variations we roll out every month, and learn about everything craft beer—from brewing to pairings. Our goal is to raise $40,000 to help us fund construction, renovation, and upgrades to your community brewery-to-be.
Your funding will go toward a spacious indoor taproom with a small stage for live music, a separate and secluded living room area perfect for catching up with friends, and a backyard area for the brewery complete with a deck, additional seating, and yard games. The space will also be perfect for community events.
What’s in it for you?

We’re always experimenting with new batches, and we want you to be a part of it. We’re brewing a special batch that will be ready by the end of the campaign. It's a witbier called Friday Night White. Follow along as we start brewing, monitoring fermentation, and split the batch into different mystery treatments. What will each one taste like? We’ll find out together. Science!
Here's the schedule, so you can follow along at home:
Brew day - 2/19
Fermentation Bubbles - 2/21
Keg base recipe - 3/1
Split 1/2 batch into treatments - 3/1
Base recipe ready - 3/4
Bottle Treatments - 3/8
Treatments ready - 3/22
Not your average beer lineup

We’re bringing the homebrewing spirit to the professional brewing world by making 6 main styles with 4 special treatments each. This way, you can find your Main go-to beer and find New ways to enjoy it!
For example, our Porter comes from a Best-In-Show award winning recipe from our homebrewing days. Aside from the great base style, we will also periodically introduce special versions like a Hatch chile infused porter, a winter spiced version, a hickory wood-aged version, and a whiskey barrel-aged version. Now imagine the variety of flavors for other styles: Saison, Witbier, Pale Ale, IPA, and our very popular Stout. The possibilities are endless.
You might have heard of vertical tastings, where you drink the same beer recipe aged over multiple years. We’ll offer something called "horizontal tastings" where you can enjoy the same batch of beer with four different flavor infusions. We can’t wait for you to try it.
The variety of our offerings gives us the opportunity to get to know our community better and gives you opportunities to learn about brewing through participating in the process. Once our taproom is open to the public, we plan to have a Discussion Series where we’ll bring in our friends from around the craft beer industry, talk about how we make the beer, host food pairings with local chefs, and give each of you the chance to fall in love with craft beer like we did.
We’re proud and fortunate to call our beer award-winning, and we think this spirit of experimentation had a lot to do with it!

Challenges
Because the brewing industry is experiencing growth never before seen in the United States, there are some, uh, bottlenecks in the brewery opening process. Things like permitting and licensing delays, equipment lead times, and unexpected construction delays make our opening date hard to pinpoint. If everything goes according to plan, we hope to open our doors in late 2017. That said, we will host several small-scale work parties for those who want to help us build the brewery, as well as other opportunities to try our beer before we are open for business.
Other ways to help
Donations are so appreciated, but there are many other ways to help.
- Post to Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, or share our campaign video and Indiegogo page via the buttons at the top of this page.
- For those of y’all who have participated in our earlier t-shirt fundraisers, even wearing your nautilus shirt out and about would be a big help.
Thank you to everyone helping us make this dream a reality! We can't wait for you to come find your New Main!
Cheers!
David and the New Main team
