Nichelle Nichols has been a huge inspiration to millions throughout her life. Her groundbreaking career has not only influenced performers and celebrities but people such as yourself as well. With Nichelle rising up in age and it being her final year of appearing at conventions, it is the perfect time for her to tell her amazing story.

Have you ever wondered about tales from the set of Star Trek: The Original Series? Now, in her own words, fans will get the chance to hear those stories.

We will be pitching to the networks to do a full-length documentary based on Nichelle’s life, struggles, relationship with Gene Roddenberry and subsequent super-stardom. Tools are needed to create this pitch, so we plan on traveling to Neutral Zone Studios in Georgia, where we will shoot a short portion of the larger project. Nichelle will do a retelling of events directly from the bridge set of the Enterprise and several of you will be able to see it first-hand.

We will be doing a two-day shoot. We will only be shooting approximately 5 hours per day. Below are the listed items that need to be paid for to complete the two-days of filming:

• Flights
• Hotel
• Transportation
• Studio Rental
• Air Conditioning (as there is no a/c system currently in the studio)
• Camera Rentals (we will be running with 2 cameras)
• Lighting/Grip Rentals
• Crew – DP, Camera Operators, Grips, PA’s, Sound, Make Artist, Writer, Producer, etc.
• Food (Nichelle needs to eat)
• Editing, Color Correction, Sound Sweetening.
• Creation of Perks
• Crowd Funding Fees
