Dream and recognition!
As a little child I always said that I will never be in the situation to need a car. Meanwhile i have to admit...I was overwhelmed by the fascination technologie. If I had the choice, in my next life I would choose to be a car.
For me, a car is not just an expensive piece of metal. More than that it is a expression of individuality and passion of its owner. An iron sandcastle of human creativity.
My name is Marco. I study Business Informatics and live in Ulm. My first spoken word was "Porsche" (not Dad, not Mum...no joke) and since I am allowed to move a car, I was more and more in love with the technical aspects of movement.
I want to make my dream come true and import a Nissan Skyline BNR32 GTR from Japan to Germany. In Germany the model was never sold, therefore it is difficult to obtain. The second step is the restauration of the engine, transmission and the rest of the car.
In addition I want to add a rollcage to the car and modify it as far as possible to improve the handling as it could be useful for the raceway. In the far future I want to gather a team of pistol heads to have fun on german circuits.
What you can expect?
If I will be successful with this campaign, I want to spread out every information and event regarding the car. Since I got the car, everyone shall know what will happen with it. As a victim of my generation and because of my job, I am able to use every social network and websites that are given by the mighty internet. As a result no one will miss a detail.
I set 15.000 € as budget, as this is the minimal value for a healthy base of a car. The price for the Skyline will be between 7.000 € to 10.000 €. About 2.000 € will be used for shipping it to Germany and the insurance for this move. On top of that there will be 16% taxes asked by our country. The rest will be used to get a license for the vehicle and the upcoming modifications for legally moving it over our streets. If there will be money more than the goal requests (I am unstoppable at dreaming) a rollcage will be installed and I want to buy some more raceway stuff (helmet, race-suit,...)
If the goal will not be reached, I want to begin from the end of my list above. I want to gather a team of people who love driving on a raceway and get some equipment required for the track. And I will never stop chasing my dream getting this legendary car here to Germany!
You may ask yourself, why I don't save my money to buy the car on my own. Believe me, I am! But as a student it is not easy to put some money under the pillow. It is also not easy to have such a passion for a expensive hobby as a student. But to be honest, collecting railroad models was not my favourite choice of hobby (I am sure you can pump enough money in there, too)
The power of the mass!
I hope to get many small amounts of fundings and believe in the power of social networks to achieve big goals with many people. Help me to reach this goal as you can share and tell people with passion for cars about it!
Hold your dreams! Make them come true, no matter how far they are!
