Pear Linux is a French distribution. It was created by David Tavares, Deux-Sèvres (79), France.
The purpose of Pear Linux is to create an operating system based on linux (ubuntu mini remix) and propose a simple but powerful interface.

Pear Linux is free and we hope you enjoy it.

It is operating out of the box, with a complete multimedia experienceand is extremely easy to use.Users are encouraged to send their comments to the project so that their ideas can be used to improve Pear Linux.Based on Ubuntu (debian), it provides an impressive repository.It is safe and reliable. Pear Linux requires very little maintenance (no antivirus, no anti-spyware … etc.).

I'm David Tavares, I'm 35 and I live in France. Computer enthusiast, I am interested in Linux system for several years. I tried several distributions from Red Hat 2. As the years and I know my depth linux and I started my interest in Debian and then Ubuntu. I started my personal distribution with themes and icons with the look of Apple's system. And came Pear Linux 1. The purpose of this distribution was initially reserved for my own use. Friends have Insite me to share on the internet for the advance and solve problems and bug I had. And by little, I put my system to date and suggesting prompted systematically on my website. I was pleasantly surprised to see more and more users are interested in my distribution. A more advanced website has been created and a forum. Many volunteers help me in the bug fixes and creating new focntionnalités. The system in its version 7, and several applications have been created especially for Pear OS 7 at the request of users. I developed this system alone but given the strong demand for functionality and user, I will be forced to change its structure in order to continue the dvelopment of this system.

This is why I present this project on Indiegogo to find funding to continue this wonderful project.
