We are a small group of fun loving friends that have come together over beer. Jay, our head brewer has always been passionate about drinking beer and even more passionate about making it. After attending a few beer events and hearing the rave reviews from people that tried our beer, we knew that the beer we make is beer people want and enjoyed. We're ready to open our own brewery and are at a point that we need financial support to get started.
Who we are
PENNY PINCHERS is a fun loving brewery that is dedicated to producing high quality beer, the kind people are really excited to try, without having to break the bank.
Our philosophy is to create authentic style beers with a slight twist to make them uniquely ours. Quality is important, if it doesn’t meet our standards it will never make it to the tap. While we want to try new things and test different beers we aren’t in it for all the fancy ingredients or crazy flavors, but rather great tasting, easy drinking beers that you will want to have more than 1 of.
We are in the initial stages of start up but our dream is to create a brewery that you'll visit because you love the beer, and you’ll keep coming back because you can’t get enough of the chill environment, the staff that you think of as friends, and the fun array of events that we hope to host.
The Support We Need
To get things up and running we first need a place to call home. We have found a small, affordable location in Northbridge, MA that will be a perfect starter space but it needs to be built out to suit our needs. Next, to get us from a small in home operation to a full scale brewery there is some extra equipment that we need. We are hoping that with a min of $10,000 we are ready to get started on this crazy adventure!

The Challenges Ahead
The only thing holding us back from getting this party started is securing a place to call our own. While the process of getting our licenses (state and federal) isn't difficult, the challenge is that until you have your licenses you CAN'T make beer and you CAN'T start the process of getting your licenses until you have a location. We are currently negotiating the lease for the space, but unfortunately don’t have the finances fully commit. Barring any major construction issues we feel confident with the budget we have outlined for this project and feel confident that we can have a space up and running this year.
