We want to install an oven specifically made for pizzas. The one we have our eye on has a stone deck and reaches a temperature of 850 F. Our current oven has a hard time hitting 500 F. The difference is about 10 minutes of cooking time. So right now at over 15 minutes per pizza, we simply can't get them out fast enough for people, and it is impossible to get a nice thin crust with seared cheese at 500F. This pizza oven can pop out a really good pizza in under 7 minutes.
Note: we only need $1500 for the oven itself, so this will go ahead with what ever comes in. The target of $5000 gives us two ovens, and a holding unit.
We don't plan on being a pizzeria, just offering really good munchies. So we think we'll have maybe three pizzas: basic pepperoni, vegetarian, and maybe a third left open for the creative chef.
