It has now been over 3 months, since we closed our doors due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This has now started to take it's toll. As a small wildlife park, which receives no government funding, we rely on entrance fees, school tours and our education workshops as our main sources of income.
We have raised almost €9,000 on our Go Fund Me Campaign which we are so grateful for! We have decided to launch a crowdfunding campaign to encourage you to avail of perks e.g. A family pass at a much cheaper price, a certificate for your child to keep etc instead of you just donating as we thought this would be nice to do as a thank you. But if you just want to donate and receive no perk please go here
We have managed to continue to give our animals the best possible care up to this point through online pre-ticket sales and animal sponsorship's. Unfortunately this is no longer enough and we are asking for your help.
Having tested our Go Fund me campaign and seeing the reaction, we decided to reach out globally to more people with perks to reward your generosity.
Over the past 14 years Secret Valley Wildlife Park has endeavored to educate our visitors and followers into plight of wild animals and the efforts we can make to conserve the environment and protect animals in the wild.
We also work with an exotic animal rescue organisation based in Europe to provide a permanent home for exploited and neglected exotic animals.
We currently have four species of rescued primates, including capuchin monkeys and cotton-top tamarins which were rescued from the pet trade. Our most recent additions are four Rhesus Macaques which were saved from a Dutch Laboratory. Having endured horrible suffering while being used for neurological research, Bassie, Adriaan, Puyi and Tchang, can now live out the rest of their lives in peace at Secret Valley Wildlife Park.
Please help us to continue providing a home for these special animals.
