Shiny Happy People Publishing
For two years we (Sara Thompto & Kristin Bivens) have been working hard at coming up with a company that collaborates our interests in literature, paper products, and small gifts. Shiny Happy People Publishing was born through an accumulation of hard work and passion to create something both of us could be proud of producing. This spring we're ready to launch our product lines to stores throughout the midwest and west-coast, releasing original designs through stationery products including postcards, letter paper, notecards, and greeting cards, with our first book to follow shortly in the summer of 2014.
We currently have what we need to get started, but what we're really looking for is that extra boost that will help set us apart and help us become more successful. If we can get the last little boost we need, we are confident it will make all the difference.

What We Need & What You Get
We set the goal of $500.00 because that would help with the little "extras" we feel would really put us ahead with marketing our products. We are meeting with boutique gift, stationery, and book stores this May and the extra boost would help us to...
- Purchase more catalogs to hand out to potential buyers
- Buy marketing "gifts" to help us keep our brand on shop owners minds
- Order even more products up front so we have them on hand for quick delivery
- Help ease the difficulties of unforeseen costs as they arise

What will you do with the funds if you exceed your goal?
If we were to reach our goal, any extra money raised would go straight into building our book division, which we hope to focus on more during the summer of 2014. This would include:
- ISBN's (needed to sell your book in any store or be offered in any library).
- Printing costs
- Distributing costs
- Advertising and marketing materials
- Unexpected costs along the way
Really, the list is endless. So, if you see we've reached our goal and think you will no longer be making a difference by contributing, just know with a small business there are always new costs popping up!
