We Are A Band Called Society 1 And We Love The Doors.
We've been a band for 17 years and released multiple albums on various record labels yet none of them were interested in backing a album of all Doors music. The band is now independent and nothing is holding us back from creating this inspired project.
This campaign is to raise money in order for us to achieve a life dream of creating an entire tribute album to one of the greatest bands of all time.
Your contributions will not only make our dream come true but also help create an album that will bring the genius of The Doors music to a new crowd.
What We Need
We need $10,000 to cover all studio costs. Recording isn't cheap and we want to be able to utilize the best equipment available to do justice to the amazing music of The Doors.
We have some really unique perks to help us get there such as a personalized tour by our vocalist Matt Zane of Doors landmarks in Los Angeles, a day in the studio with the band and even a Doors inspired comic book.
If we don't reach our entire goal we are still going to record and deliver one song for every thousand we receive after an initial $2000 is raised. If we only receive under $2000 we will still deliver whatever perk a person selects as well as deliver the song Wild Child and Doors inspired comic book electronically.
The Album Details
This album isn't going to be some half hearted attempt to cash in by recording a bunch of uninspired covers. We want to bring The Doors music to a place that its never been. By focusing on the groove within the songs and bringing out the innate heaviness of each track our goal is to completely re-envision what The Doors may have sounded like if they created their music in 2016.
This may be difficult to imagine and we thought so too. That's why we've already invested our time and money into creating the first track and video for the album. Now you can see and hear exactly what we will be doing. Our version of 'Wild Child' will give you a clear intention of what we're hoping to accomplish and make you confident in the fact that we are 100% able to achieve our goal with some help from you.
