It is a National Disaster situation,the Capital of South India or Tamilnadu State,Chennai is inundated by incessant rains and floods for the past 1 week.Population amounts to around 5 million including children,
Total city is devastated,and the entire city is like Venice,with flood waters as high at 18-24 ft in some places,imagine the plight of people,no power supply for past 2 days,no drinking water access,no milk for kids,a half lt milk packet which normally costs 20 INR,is sold for 150INR as the demand is very high and supply is totally stopped as vehicles cannot ply in and out of Chennai as all roads are inundated by flood waters.
All the lakes have breached and this rain is recorded as highest in 107 yrs.
The entire population irrespective of religion,social status...everyone has to start from scratch.
As of now we can arrange for the relief material like
all the basic necessities for flood affected people in Tamilnadu.Rains are lashing in Chennai,Cuddalore,Pondicherry,Thoothukudi and Delta regions.
Those who can pls contribute to buy these.
Dresses,milk powder,instant food like maggi,Water packet bags,basic medicines,candles,torch,batteries,blankets,emergency lamps,mobile recharge cards,biscuits,rusk,sugar,rice,onions.sanitary napkins,huggies, and what other necessity comes to your mind..We are arranging fishermen with boats to enter the city

It's been more than 5 days,there is not one hope of normalcy returning,food is being provided by Government and other good souls,75% of the people are from lower classes,their rehabilitation is a big question mark,providing food for 4/5 days is not enough,after that...
