My name is Sheane T. Kirksey I am the founder and Director of Star Struck Divaz Dance Company, LLC, I currently own 51 percent of the company, I like to think of myself as self made motivated entrepreneur small minority business owner, who was raised in Midwest St. Louis MO. As a young adult I became obsessed with being physically fit and active. Over the years I turned that obsession of being physically fit into a healthy hobby and then I turned that healthy hobby into a mental passion which in turn I built into a small business, my dance company/studio to share my health journey with others .
This campaign will help me to seek greatly needed funds, to relocate this company to a larger studio location that I'm sure will need some repairs to bring the new building up to state code and customer satisfaction. My campaign is so important to me because it will allow the company the growth opportunities it needs to move forward with business clientele and its annual revenue. Overall I am applying for this $5000.00 loan to help provide working capital expense of running the dance company sufficiently once we have made the move.
The funds provided by the contributors would help tremendously, by allowing the company the cash flow on hand needed to launch and reopen the larger and better location. This company move would allow a much wider target market, allowing more client based business along with increased revenue weekly, monthly and annual. The funds secured by the contributors would certainly be a great impact on Star Struck Divaz day to day over all business success.
What the company needs is the maximum loan amount of $5000.00 is requested on behalf of Star Struck Divaz Dance Company,LLC to help obtain our goal in moving forward with our dance art vision by securing this loan to help relocate our dance team to a into a bigger and better location, we are a local competitive dance team that practices in a shared and rented space six days a week. The loan would provide secure funding for the deposit on a new location and some minor move in repairs, purchases of licenses and permit. The move would generate a more profitable income for the company. Drive the annual revenue up by large percentages, projecting to up to and around 30K-50K, this change this would definitely be a great benefit to Star Struck Divaz Dance Company, Llc.
Star Struck Divaz Dance Co. is unique in a lot of ways, one we are a family oriented studio, here we offer one on one mentoring to our youths. We offer competitive cost sufficient services, selective uniforms styles are included with monthly tuition (youths dance team), offer family discounts and client pick up and drop off services with in the studios traveling miles radius.
If we are not able to reach or meet our entire goal, whatever funds are collected would still be of great assistance to the company. We would still need to purchase uniform inventory and some much needed exercise equipment, new marketing strategies will be implemented. Also the funds would help secure the team competitions and travel fees throughout the competitive dance seasons.
This campaign is just what the company needs to move forward in its next business phase, to everyone who will contribute to our cause know that you too will be helping Star Struck Divaz Dance Company make a major difference by offering our low cost diverse health and fitness services to single parents, low income families, minorities, youths and adults in our communities. The biggest challenge in this business is client retention, the turn over rate is actually kind of high, although I (we) love what I (we) do, it's really hard work spending many training hours with new youths & adult clients. The future goal for the business is to one day actually have multiple studios locations in different states that provides services to minorities in urban communities. I am mostly proud that my business has succumb the start up phase and is ready to move forward in building more capital and revenue along with the fact that Star Struck Divaz Dance Co. allows each individual to gain more confidence, self esteem along with a healthy and positive environment, each time they walk through those studio doors.
I have created Star Struck Divaz from the ground up. Star Stuck Divaz Dance Co, even has a great social media following causing a social impact on three audience crowds, minority youths who is fond of the art of dance and would love to further their craft in it and adults/parents/ supporters all also follow our social media platform, mostly the objective is to keep the audience engaged and entertained, many social media platforms has gained me a high percentage of clients, fans and supporters in the Dance Art World. This social tactic continuously allows the company to gain business the near future to come.
