Hi! Our names are Yosef Kramer (20) and Avichai Wachsberg (21) hailing from New Jersey. We are currently serving in the IDF as Lone Soldiers in the Kfir Brigade company Netzach Yehuda. We finished basic and advanced training and are now trained as 07 combat soldiers.

Now we are advancing to commanders course with about 20 other soldiers. This is an extended 4 months of 08 combat unit commander training. Once we finish the course we will be assigned a unit of 12-15 combat soldiers to lead on missions and God Forbid, if need be, war.

Although the Israeli Army provides us with tactical combat vests to hold our ammunition and first aid equipment, the ones we receive are older used models that are worn out and often don't fit properly. Having the benefit of new professionally made vests would be a huge game changer. They would help maximize our capabilities with vests that improve our mobility, fit properly, and are 10x more comfortable than what we would be getting.

We really would benefit immensely if we had these vests during week-long field training exercises, and missions that have us engaged for many hours. Every other aspect of our service also, where we don't have the option to remove our combat vests which include guard duty, active in-city patrols, and inspections at checkpoints. Another huge benefit that these vests have are compartments for bullet-proof plates that we can easily slide into our vests, as opposed to having to wear a bullet proof vest under our already heavy combat vests.

Each vest costs approximately $350 depending on how many we can order. We are trying to raise enough funds to be able to purchase these vests for our platoon of future IDF commanders (25-30 people).
