Hello my name is Joe Kselman and I am here to ask you to help the people of Gauterine village.  100% of your donation will go directly to supplying a solar powered home lighting system to every home in the village.  

The people of Gauterine represent the poorest strata of Indian society.  They have no access to the electrical grid and earn an average daily income of less than 2 dollars a day.  These are people who could really use your help.  

I first began working with Gauterine village 2 years ago and in that time have successfully implemented the initial phase of the project by installing a solar power system for the village school.  The first and only source of power currently available in the village.  The solar power system we set up in the school is capable of running lights, a ceiling fan, charging cell phones and also running the Raspberry Pi computers we set up in the second phase of our project.  In the third phase of our project we are looking to supply every home in the village with a solar powered lighting system.

For only 30 dollars we can supply 1 house a solar powered home lighting system capable of providing hours of lighting far healthier and brighter than the small clay pot kerosene lanterns everyone uses.  

Here are a couple pictures of the average homes in Gauterine village.  One can easily see how little these people have and how much they will benefit from having a source of clean bright light in their homes at night.  

In July I will be returning to Gauterine to distribute the solar lanterns to every home in the village.  If you donate 30 dollars you will receive a picture of the individual family personally receiving your donation of a solar home lighting system.

These are the Luminous all in one battery generators that will be be charged by the solar panel and supply  electricity to the LED lanterns and cell phone chargers. 
 

If we are able to exceed our funding goals by $1000  we will be able to provide the people of Gauterine with a similar system but with the added capability of also running a fan and even a TV.
