About the Film
The Ghost Club is a standalone story about a college-age John Watson returning to his studies after a year's break following a traumatizing accident, only to end up dealing with a strange new roommate and troublesome ghosts instead of schoolwork.
The film will be created by partnering with several SU students in late January 2022 in the Syracuse area. We will be creating this film next year as the thesis for my BFA in Film at Syracuse University.
How You Can Help
We are looking to raise $3,600 to help bring this film to life! As a student and not-for-profit film, all of the funding will be going towards the costs of production, including but not limited to: location, transportation, costumes/props/set pieces, craft services, film festival entry fees, and plenty more!
If you want a bonus from your donation, check out the perks section to get things like a special thanks in the credits to an Executive Producer title. Any contribution helps and is more than appreciated!
Who Are You Anyways?
Good question!

That's me! My name is Bee Lily and I am a senior Film major at Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts. I've been reading Sherlock Holmes since I was 12 and since then made it my mission to collect and consume as many different interpretations both written and produced as possible (of varying levels of quality). It's important to me to include the LGBT+ influence in my writing as a queer non-binary person, as it deeply affected my love of Conan Doyle's work. I love storytelling, and now entering my final year at SU I want to finish with something close to my heart: my own take on the famous detective's story.
And that's all there is to it.
