What have crocodiles got to do with tomatoes? Crocodiles are the stuff of nightmares, their huge jaws snapping at your ankles as they try to eat you! Tomatoes are ....well they're tomatoes.  This hapless crocodile may well turn out to be vegan, who knows?

The Greedy Crocodile is a funny, action packed children’s picture book about a tomato obsessed crocodile and fearless twins Elodie and Adele. Can the twins save Dad's 'matoes from the mighty jaws of the crocodile? Mischief and Mayhem combined they love nothing more than to roll up their sleeves and jump feet first into the action!

Inspired by the grow it yourself/urban gardening fever that swept the nation, I have sneakily wound the life cycle of the tomato plant into the story.  I believe the story should always come first and once it's fun and engaging then  learning happens naturally! 

This book would be suitable from ages 1 to about 8 depending on the child.  Enjoy reading to, reading with and the encouraging independent readers in your life!

The Greedy Crocodile will be a 32 page 10 X 8 inch   (25 x 20 cm) matt laminated, perfect bound book. This size is suitable for children and adults to handle easily. The inside paper is a whopping 170 gram silk which adds a luxurious finish to the book.

I really believe in this project so apart from writing the story I have already invested my own funds to pay for  the illustrations, layout and typography. What I really need your help with is  mostly the printing and distributing costs.

If the project is fully funded then I should be able to print and deliver the books to you before  Christmas.  I have have added an extra bit of  wiggle room in case of delay with postage (due to Covid 19) or any other unforeseen circumstance.
