What is the National Cannabis Festival?
In early 2015 a group of cannabis policy advocates, business owners and enthusiasts joined together around the idea to create
The National Cannabis Festival (NCF), to celebrate progress on marijuana legalization in D.C. and across the nation.

We wanted to put together a festival to give the east coast community a place and platform to recognize the spirit of the cannabis movement and the non-profit groups that fight every day to end cannabis prohibition.
We're here today to invite you to join us as we make history at the first-ever National Cannabis Festival!
We are inviting thousands of members of the cannabis community from up and down the east coast to join us on April 23, 2016, for:
- A full day of music on the main festival stage featuring headlining acts and some of the best regional bands.
- A vendor village with local and national brand names, games, contests and prize giveaways.
- An advocacy village where you can get to know members of our advocacy coalition. There will be activities and information on how you can contribute to legalization efforts in your community.
- An education pavilion with informational sessions you can attend throughout the day.
- And of course, food, beer and wine!
NCF is book-ended by official pre- and post- parties at local venues.

For decades, non-profit advocacy groups have been fighting to end cannabis prohibition. The National Cannabis Festival is a chance to gather together just one mile from the U.S. Capitol Building to cast the national spotlight on the most pressing cannabis policy issues and show lawmakers that our community is serious about marijuana policy reform.

Producing a festival is no small feat. Our team is composed of experienced event producers, A/V technicians, policy experts, cannabis industry leaders and media/publicity experts.
