Hello lovely people, we are The Wandering Hearts, a Folk-Americana band from the UK.

​We've had a brilliant last two years since releasing our debut album and have been fortunate to play a load of tours, as well as tour the USA several times, where we were the first UK band to debut at the Opry and the Ryman Theatre in Nashville in the same week.

We have also just returned from Woodstock, NY where we have completed our second album! We can't wait for you all to hear it.

Like a lot of other artists at the moment, due to the Coronavirus crisis, we have had to cancel all our touring (both in the US, including having to return early before SXSW and some festivals and more touring, and postpone our intimate UK tour in April) until later in the year.

Cancelling our US touring has has been a real blow to us, as like most bands (even those who have record deals), we do not make any significant revenue from recorded music. Touring and fans buying our merchandise is our life blood and how we keep everything going. Visiting new territories like the USA is often done at a loss to try and get going there, and behind the scenes everything pays for musicians and crew and others who help, who have all lost out this year. 

Basically, revenue from touring helps us be able to continue making music for you and go on the road, visit new places, and the records are there really to help promote that.

So, to help raise funds to go back out the the USA later this year and pick up where we left off, we have created some new merchandise for you to buy (including a t-shirt exclusive to this campaign), and we will be doing a private streamed gig as well as offering some other incentives. We are also including the option for the generous folk out there to purchase your name (or name of your business) in the general album credits, or as the only thank you (or a dedication to someone you wish) on each song credit from our new album. Or if you just make a contribution, you have our deepest thanks.
 

What We Need & What You Get

We are looking to raise at least £6,000 which will help us be able to cover our losses over the summer, reschedule our US touring, and be able to put on the live streamed show for you, with proper production.

In order to raise this we're offering:

• Virtual tickets to an intimate streamed online gig in April, where we'll be performing old songs, new songs and requests as well as telling stories and answering your questions

• The opportunity to attend the first album playback at a studio in London for a small group of people

How this will help

By buying any of these things, you will help us be able to reschedule our US touring and negate the losses we experienced from postponing tours, in time for us to release our new album later in the year.
