OUR STORY
We met Avi at a Yachad Marathon earlier this year when he shared his story.
Avi survived a 30 foot fall off a telephone pole while doing what he loves - Photography.
Today, though paralyzed, he is more grateful than ever for his life and his family.
Avi inspired us to appreciate the joys of life that are so often taken for granted.
We felt we wanted to do something for Avi. When we asked him what we could do for him, he asked us to do something for Yachad, an organization that has supported him throughout his experience.
Yachad, the Orthodox Union’s department for disabilities, sent Avi on their Israel program to explore Israel with a group that encourages disability inclusion.
Avi wanted to pay it forward and together we decided to raise money for Yachad's Israel program that Avi had attended.
Avi was very happy, but we weren’t satisfied - we still wanted to do something for Avi directly. We knew he wanted to participate in another marathon, so we spoke to Yachad about matching our donation to Yachad's Israel program and sending Avi on the 2015 ING Miami Marathon to race with Team Yachad. They agreed!

Contains both parve and dairy items. Under the strict kosher supervision of any one of the following kosher certification agencies: OU, OK, Kaf-K, Star-K, CRC, COR, MK (Montreal Kosher), Eda Cahredis Badatz.
