Hello there!
We started as a group of friends with one goal - to create an intelligent building based on the Raspberry Pi (compatible with both B and B+ versions). At the beginning we had a lot of different cheap boards from China. Althought it worked, it is not the solution we wanted...

So we sit back to the table and after many hours spent on the development....

It was clear that we need a universal all-in-one solution. So we came out with the UniPi.

What can I use it for?
In our application the UniPi is the brain of the whole building. From controlling lighs, doors, curtains, sprinklers and gate through reading signals from switches, alarm, temperature and humidity sensors.
With the analog 0-10V inputs and ouput it allows you to control and read 3rd party devices power (e.g. pump, fan, ...).
What We Need & What You Get
We have already tested the development samples in real environment and everything works OK. Right now we need your help to put the first bach into production.
To get reasonable price for PCBs and all parts, wee need to order at least 30 boards which is our minimum goal.
If you help us to achieve the main goal we already have many add-on modules such as relays, OpenTherm, NFC readers, DIN rail case and more....
Right now we are working on the software part for the UniPi to allow easy control things for everyone. So if you are interrested in software development, feel free to contact us! :)
Temperature Sensors
For those who'd like to measure values from more than one temperature sensor, we have developed an extension box - small passive hub allows you to have 5 sensors connected to the UniPi with standard UTP patch cord.

Risks & Challenges
Since we have everything ready and tested, we set our main goal the way to be able to roll out the first batch of UniPis to the public.
We only need to work on the software part but we believe we will make a great and easy to interact UI with help of the community.
