Wee Summary
This campaign is meant to aid the start-up of a miniature surfboard company that we are starting (Matthew & Nicole) called WeeBoards.com that
hopes to bring back the meaning of fun to the sport of surfing. Today with crowded beaches and the ultra-competitive nature of the sport, surfers
everywhere are forgetting how to just have fun. At WeeBoards, with our less serious attitude and thru our fun, snack-sized, highly customizable surfboards, we hope to change this.
Hello from Matthew and Nicole, the founders of WeeBOARDS.com, a surfboard manufacturer and online retailer based out of Seattle, WA. At WeeBoards.com customers can customize and purchase mini surfboards online while helping us to donate used surfboards to Nicaraguan kids (Groms) living in poverty.
Matthew is a Web and Graphic Designer with Online Marketing Experience of
over 18 Years. He grew up surfing the Santa Barbara, Ventura County area in
Southern California and has been in and out of the Action sports industry a
good portion of his life.
Nicole is the primary owner and operator of WeeBoards.com as well as a stay at home mother of a 2 year old toddler. Like Matthew, Nicole grew up surfing the Santa Barbara, Ventura County area in Southern California and has always had love and respect for the ocean.
WAVES FOR NICAS, A Greater Purpose: WeeBoards.com is not just about making money selling highly customizable mini surfboards, as much fun as that is. :)
We have a bigger mission in sight and that's simply to share the feeling of STOKED
that only surfing provides with the less fortunate, world-wide. WeeBoards.com
helps do this through our side project called "WAVES FOR NICAS", which takes
money from every sale and purchases used-surfboards and donates the boards to Nicaraguan kids living in poverty. It's a simple project without all of
the red-tape that other organizations have as we strictly stick to the K.I.S.S. methodology, Keep It Simply SURFING. We use money donated and
a percentage from every sale we make online and off, to buy used surfboards from local travelers that are looking to ditch the excess baggage on the flight home, and give the boards directly to local groms (kids) who couldn't otherwise afford to own a surfboard. We are going to document each and every giveaway on our website on a consistent monthly basis so that everyone will be able to share in the rewards of giving. And while the sport of surfing is growing by leaps
and bounds in Nicaragua, through the "Waves for Nicas" project there will be more
opportunities for these kids to get sponsored and compete in competitions internationally. We
also want to utilize our connection with Nicaragua's premier surfing
association ASSUR, who will be beneficial with connecting our donated boards
with the kids that need them the most.

Support Us for Wee Perks!!! We'd like to offer each investor a special thanks for helping the start-up of
this business venture by shipping them 1X FREE Mini Surfboard every year for
life! Each investor will be able to customize their board however they'd like.
Surf it or use it as a wall decoration, coffee table, whatever as WeeBoards have many alternate/creative uses.
That's right, you'll receive 1X Free WeeBoard of your choice every year in January. (Retail Value: $450)
Our Wee Plan, if the large plan comes up short... We plan on saving the largest purchase of the large format
printer and associated media, for last. There's currently a 3RD party providing us with similar printing services at a reasonable rate. If we don't
reach our entire goal, you'll get 100% of your contribution returned. We plan on relisting this campaign and giving this another shot in case you're interested.
The Wee Impact
"WeeBoards along with The Waves for Nicas Project, will be a valuable contributor to the world
by making the sport of surfing more accessible, affordable and fun for everyone."
We've started successful businesses in the past that were not necessarily our forte. One
success story was being a part of BizChair.com, an online office furniture retailer that went on to gross more than 50-Million a year in
sales and was showcased on CNN & Fox News. FiestaPinatas.com was also one of our ventures that is still operating as one of the largest piñata manufactures in the USA. We feel success is close with WeeBoards.com. We get an
enthusiastic reaction from every individual we meet and they're almost as excited as we are
about WeeBOARDS.com and the W4N Project. We currently have 10+ orders in que
just through word of mouth, and others who have expressed excitement over their
future purchase. We also have a Surf Team consisting of 2 professional surfers that have already given us
their stamp of approval and are going to be team riders once we get established.
What we love the most about this business venture is that for once we are
doing what we're passionate and most knowledgeable about. We've always had a love for
the ocean and its people, and now we get to enjoy both while providing a living for our
family. And someday we will get to share this with our 2 year old daughter.
Wee Risks & Challenges
There will be challenges like all ventures. The difference is that we've technically been in this industry all of
of our lives and have been involved with the retail sector on and off just as long.
We know who our customers are, we know their families, their appreciation for art,
design and their own Creativity. For the past 20 years we've held positions and gained experience necessary to effectively launch a successful venture such as this. We have experience in
the following: design and manufacturing, engineering, marketing, online retail, ecommerce, brick and mortar, customer
service, technical support, project manager, surfing instruction, travel, and much more.
Wee Ways You Can Help Nica Groms...
If you're not able to help us directly, maybe you could help us get the word out about our Waves for Nicas Project. Wee could always use more support with carrying out our mission of spreading the joys of surfing to the less fortunate.
