Funding this campaign is really about the people and you helping make something very special happen. Be sure to check out all these member smiles from past events here
How it started
Before moving I owned an event planning business in NYC for over 18 years. Having worked for clients who were planning such important private events, I became highly skilled in being detailed oriented, diligent, resourceful and creative. After exiting the private party world, I went on to become a Licensed Realtor for RE/MAX. But, they say, "Do what you love and you'll love what you do". Well, I love running this group and want to do it full time. I've never had so much fun in my life creating fun for other people.
Your contributions are actually not for me. They are for the members. As they are the recipients of this service. Life is filled with work, families, stress, bills and plenty of adult seriousness. Members need our group as an outlet to express their inner kid and to have more laughter and enjoyment in their lives. Because we do these as group events, they benefit by meeting many new friends that they wouldn't normally meet in their daily lives.
What We Need
$50,000 is what it would take to get it started. It's all about the marketing. We have proven the concept on a very small grass roots effort. Now it's time to tell the world. By the way, our members pay an annual membership. It's extremely affordable with no pressure to participate if they can't all the time. Unlike a similar group who charges over 100 times what we do.
The Majority of funds will be used to run radio spots for approximately 10 - 15 months consistently. It would not be spent all at once. Approximately $3,000.00 a month would be spent on this marketing. This would allow for consistency and more importantly, letting me see the conversion rate after 90 days. The marketing will drive traffic to our web site and increase membership. The balance for S.E.O and web traffic marketing.
The Impact
Not only do we plan events for our members but, we post information about charities, community events and encourage them to get involved. From time to time we actually plan an outing that brings our members to a charity event such as when we did the "Walk for MS", or "beach cleanup". Part of my plan is to be able to grow the membership and have recurring community events that we can actively participate in on a regular basis. Part of our blog is dedicated to allowing members to post information about charitable events or non profits. This gives them an outlet to share with other members. My goal is to be a bigger part of the community and to bring Meet Me There Events to more U.S. cities in the future. You can request this information as outlined in our business plan.
My success is the fact that I have planned over 350 events and brought many new friendships to life. Your contribution will allow people who are looking for more social interaction, the ability to do so more frequently without costing and arm and a leg. Plainly put, I am a people person. I work hard at fulfilling my members needs and wants and put them first before mine. I have dozens of unsolicited testimonials from members who have said such great things about how I planned and executed our events.
