Hello! I am Araya (like A-Ray-A Sunshine). I am a wife,
mother of two and gal behind Wind & Willow Home. I created Wind &
Willow Home two years ago out of necessity when I was laid off after twelve years as
a Kitchen and Bath Designer. I decided to channel the same passion for
beauty and functional design into creating a line of modern-classic wooden housewares.
I design, then slowly hand dip each piece into a custom rubber material that I
carefully mix in my basement studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

GROWINGWhile I completely love creating modern
wooden housewares, I am consistently getting requests for coordinating table
wares such as tea towels, napkins and table linens in the same organic modern to
style Wind and Willow Home has come to be known by. I am excited
to have this crowd funding opportunity to accommodate these requests and introduce
a line of soft goods that complement the cheerful aesthetic of my housewares as
the next step in growing my business.

PAYING IT FORWARD
It has always been a dream of mine to help change people’s lives.
I have been so fortunate in this endeavor that I want to show my gratitude by
paying it forward. A portion of the funds raised through this Indigogo
campaign will help to launch our BOWL FULL initiatives. Through
the BOWL FULL project, Wind & Willow Home will donate a minimum of 1
meal per item sold to feed the hungry near and far, in addition to volunteering
our time in pursuit of this cause.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
I need your help! I am turning to my strongest
supporters to ask for contributions to assist with my growth plans. I need to
raise $12,200 to help cover the cost of materials, development, production and support to bring the soft goods line to life.
I also need to hire professional help to integrate the giving aspect
into the website in order to launch the
BOWL FULL project and help to hire our first
full-time employee to assist in increasing operations.
42% of your pledges will cover the raw materials, inks and set up needed to begin creating the first full line of our new collection.
18% of your pledges will cover the production costs associated with the first run of product.
30%
of your pledges will go to hiring the necessary professional website design and development help to integrate the giving aspect of the BOWL FULL project into our website.
The remaining
10% will go towards incentives and admin. fees
