Cypress Hill made it okay to abandon the fear of being judged for doing what you believe and for being your f**king self. They broke barriers and records by coming together for something much bigger than who they were as individuals. And as badly as they wanted out of the poverty and violence that plagued their hood, they weren’t willing to sell out to buy that ticket.

Great f**king question!
As much as we want to make this happen FOR our fans we also want to make it WITH our fans. We want to give our fans from all over the world an opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way. Not only that, the perks are dope AF and we think it’s a cool way to give back to you for your support. These perks will never be made available to the public again.

The band simply took their way of life, on Cypress Ave., and parlayed it into their studio sessions. Smoking weed would become an integral part of the DNA in the Cypress Hill persona. Becoming the first rap group to get down with High Times and playing fundraisers for NORML to lobby Congress on the legalization of marijuana. Cypress Hill was at the forefront of the movement putting their name on the same line they put their asses on.

Cypress Hill just did what they were already doing. Bob Marley inspired and educated them on the lamb’s bread but it was never a stoner thing. It was much more than that. And today, the cannabis culture has become much more than it ever was thanks, in large part, to the efforts of Cypress Hill.

We are committed to making a movie that is on the level with Cypress Hill’s legacy. We want to do this up the right way and production costs are no joke.
From research and development to camera and audio equipment. From crew costs and director fees to editing, sound design and animation… this costs serious dollars.
We want to travel to Cuba to help tell Sen and B’s story as well as New York to cover Muggs and Bobo. We’re thinking of doing some dope a** animations of things like the first time B-Real got stage fright or got high… Or the time they did that thing on the tour bus that no one ever talks about! Plus, we’re looking at some pretty legit directors, photographers and editors to pull this whole thing together.
We’ll stretch every dollar to go as far as we can with it and we’ll make the best movie possible. We know you’ve got a lot of questions and we want to tell the story in a way that covers it from the ground up.

Check the wall on the right hand side. We tagged it up with some killer rewards but more importantly; every single contribution goes toward creating the Cypress Hill doc.
