Short Summary
Hi, my name is Adam Santini. I am a director and cinematographer. I am working with a group of people to bring a story written by them to life. This will be the first film I seek out funding for, I get to see if this is a viable option for larger projects as well as get to give back to the people who support us. Helping fund us would be amazing, not only for quality but for morale too. As it tells us projects like these are wanted by people.
What We Need & What You Get
We will be looking to raise $1,500 USD. I understand that is a large sum of money but I have thoroughly budgeted the film multiple times to make it as tight as possible while still making sure it is enough to make the best movie possible. We also want to make sure we give back as much as we can, such as social media shoutouts or even posters and DVDs of the movie. We'd also be hosting events such as live streams of the rough cut, behind-the-scenes footage, etc. We will make this a flexible goal, which means even if we don't make the goal we will use whatever we raised and make our film. We understand that may seem a bit riskier than a guaranteed "you'll get your money back if we don't make 100%" but we will absolutely make a great film and adjust accordingly if we cannot raise the entire budget.
The Impact
Your donations would make all the difference. Whether it's $1 or $100, all donations are welcome and appreciated. Having any type of budget at all would mean the creation of a project that we are all very excited to show people. As I mentioned earlier I haven't used crowdfunding before, but I have worked on short films with tight budgets before. As anyone who makes films knows it wasn't without its stressful moments, but every dollar I put into that film shows in a successful short film.
Risks & Challenges
As I mentioned earlier, this will be a flexible goal. If we do not reach 100% of our goal, you will not be refunded your money. However, you will of course still get any perks you are entitled to with your donation amount, and we will still make the film and release it on schedule. Any obstacles that might come up with be announced to everyone as a form of being transparent, and dealt with immediately.
