The Reason
Hi my name is Beau, i am 29 years old, a fiance, a father, and a home owner.
Lately i have noticed that the world is a little disconnected.
We live in our phones and don' t interact anymore.
So for anyone who is going out to a club and see's someone that they want to talk to but doesn' t know what to say, hand them a 'Free Hug Card'.
For anyone who is coming home after a long day at work and just wants their partner to hold them but doesn't want to ask, hand them a 'Free Hug Card'.
For anyone that walks past someone having a bad day and you want to help, hand them a 'Free Hug Card'.
The best thing about a hug is they are free and transferable, but to give one without some sort of indication would be strange.

The How
I' m not just guessing here I do have some Photoshop skills and a basic understanding of the printing industry as i did work for a graphics design business for 2 years.
The cards will be high quality, at least 310 gsm, matt, full color both sides.
The reason for the $1000 target is to be able to get enough people interested so i can start distributing small packets of 10 'Free Hug' cards to as many people as possible and to get them to fill in a testimony form to show how the cards helped them or better yet how they helped somebody else.
My main goal is to get enough interest to open a website that people can place orders with and actually distribute for a much longer time.
The Why
The reason why i thought the hug cards would be a good idea is because it gets people interacting again, at worst it gives someone a laugh because of the corniness, at best it gives someone a shoulder to cry on knowing that someone cares.
The Way
My brother still runs the graphics design / printing business that i worked at, so being able to access a printer and getting the cards made isn't the hard part for me.
The hard part is you, i need you.
Having the cards available for sale doesn't get sales, i need people that want to go out and talk with a stranger, that want to help someone in need, or someone that just wants a hug, i need all of you to get involved, get the cards out there for other people to get interested.
