Go On Go Out
So much more than just another events site. Go On Go Out grabs events from all over the web and presents them in an easy to use way, giving you a complete guide to everything going on. Go On Go Out is completely free to use and completely free for venues and promoters to list their events. We will never charge for event listings.
This is not just another pie in the sky idea, we are live and running and have been providing the largest guide to events in Portsmouth for the last year. Go on, check it out!
We have developed a platform that can be applied to any location in the world, with responsive design that works well on any device. We have up to 10x more events than other event guides (and sometimes more!), over 10,000 events and 3,000 artists in our system. We rank in the top 3 on Google for many terms and receive over 13,000 visitors a month. We now need your help to keep going and keep growing.

What's Next?
What we have now is just the start. We will be launching in Southampton soon, then over the next 6 months we will be making improvements to how we gather, store and present information ahead of launching UK-wide (with other countries following soon after). We'll be increasing Facebook and other social media integration with an intelligent event suggestion system to make it even easier for you to discover new events. We will also be developing mobile apps with location based features and some exciting things that was can't really talk about yet. :)
We will continue to feature more events on Go On Go Out than other event guides and to be the best place to find out what's going on.
We'll also be developing on the ticketing system we are currently trialling. Consulting with venues, promoters, artists and event-goers to offer something that solves the problems with existing ticketing solutions.
This campaign is ahead of a larger equity crowdfunding round in September/October. All of us have been around events since we were children. My Dad has promoted live music events for 20 years and used to run a pub, Ruth’s brother is a DJ and producer. Many of our closest friends run venues, promote events or are DJs or musicians.
We all love going out and are passionate about what we have built with Go On Go Out. We've found some amazing and unusual events along the way as well! We can't wait to build on this to reach more people and develop even better ways to help everyone find out what's going on. If you'd like to know any more about us, please ask away!

Our Story
Back in 2012 we had a problem. We really struggled to find out what was going on in Portsmouth. We love live music, clubbing, comedy, theatre and so much more.
Finding out what was happening involved hunting around on Facebook, liking all the venue pages, then having to Google as well to find those that didn’t use Facebook. Clicking on other event sites and thinking in a city of 200,000 there must be more than a couple of gigs on a Saturday night!
It was a massive pain in the arse and put us off looking for new things to do, but it gave us an idea…
What if there was one place that listed everything going on?
To cut a long story short we built Go On Go Out! Pulling event information from Facebook, ticket sites and other places to give a complete guide to everything going on.

New reward! Self-updating websites for venues, promoters and artists.
Don’t have your own website? Contribute £200 we will build you one that showcases your events and integrates with your social media. It will stay up to date with your Facebook events automatically! No work involved on your part. Modern responsive design and search engine optimisation are standard, we’ll include a domain name and a year’s hosting as well.
You’ll also be the first to get access to our data on your site. Next year we will be launching a site-builder, which won’t just keep your site up to date with your events but will include information and streaming media for the venues, brands and artists also involved in your events and a lot more.
We are also more than happy to build you a website even if aren't involved in events, any questions please ask.
Save on tickets, event promotion and advertising
We are going to keep this really really simple. Every penny you contribute, you will get back 1.5x as much in credit vouchers that can be spent on buying tickets, promoting your events or advertising on Go On Go Out.
Backers here will also have first chance to invest in our equity funding round launching in September and will have the option of converting their contribution into equity as well.

City Sponsorship
We also have a limited number of special package available. For £1000 you can sponsor an entire city for a year. That city is yours! You will have a leaderboard banner across the top of all pages within that city. You can use it to promote your brand, business, website, pictures of your cat... whatever you want!
Based on the traffic we receive in Portsmouth over 300,000 people will see your message! There's a good chance that will be higher for larger cities.
If you would like to sponsor Portsmouth or Southampton please get in touch, we will be able to get it live sooner than the timescales below.
We are also offering a single multi-city package. £5,000 will get your business at the top of all pages in 7 cities for 12 months. Again based on our traffic for Portsmouth, this is over 2 million views of your advert.

International Backers
Are you outside of the UK? You can still back us and help bring Go On Go Out to where you are! While we are focused on the UK first, the unique platform we have developed can be applied to any location in the world. We will be polling backers to find out where to go next and your credit will never expire. You can also use your credit to buy tickets for a friend in the UK or advertising for an international business.
Please note: We have confirmed with Indiegogo that credit vouchers and advertising are allowed as rewards. To comply with Indiegogo rules, we'll have to refund your contribution after the equity round if you want to convert it to equity. Please check out the risks below before contributing.
