Johnny regenerative seed.
Isabel is the first vertical farm to travel to Burning Man. We aim to show humanity that vertical/indoor farming uses 95% less water, grows twice as fast, and no use of pesticides. The Internet of Food is here, are you ready?
- Ryan Hooks has been a director in NYC for the past 8 years, he then wanted to help make a dent in California's water problem. Upon arriving to San Francisco he met Ruben Santa in Palo Alto, and they shared very similar taste in programming the world for the better. They then found Eric Hager amongst fields of orchids in the East Bay, and the glorious trio was born.
- As population grows, and the resources dwindle, we need to radically do more with less. This era of innovation in the sector of ecological regeneration could be the Garden of Eden many have dreamed of for sometime. There are many factors like soil loss, climate change, petro fertilizers, transportation, clean water, health, and the the loss of animal/bio diversity. By going vertical humanity can truly solve many things at once.
- We have Isabel running at our farm in the East Bay. She needs to acquire a healthy VW and a Airstream skeleton that we will cover with plexiglass. Then there will be towers of Kale, Tomato, and Cucumber ready to make delicious salads for the passerby's. After Burning Man Isabel will be available to travel to the greatest universities and organizations around the world.

What's in it for you?
Rainbows of joy, and practicality:
- $45,000 allows for us to purchase the VW, Airstream, and fill it with all of the right components. Transportation, and some dressing is all we need.
- We are going to be handing out highly efficient salads inspiring people to go vertical. Satori is in the mix to DJ, and special guests will be lighting up the garden at night with Isabel's special light setup.
- Oh, we're building it... just that it needs some dough. If we are short of the 45k, the team will start donating kidneys... We wouldn't want to have do that right before the Burn. It's up to you! :D
The Impact
Infinite agriculture, feeding the future of humanity.
- The technology we utilize is the most affordable on the market, we aim to help shine light on the industry helping make efficiency a reality.
- We collectively have 24 years growing food, directing, and making rad products.
- We all know that the future is what you make of it, help us spread the good word.
Risks & Challenges
If you've ever been to Burning Man you know that the weather is quite radical, temperatures can range from 40° to 90° with up to 70mph wind gusts. That's why we making Isabel highly resilient to show the world that if you can grow food in the desert, you can grow it anywhere.
Burning Man doesn't allow for rooted plants so we will be showcasing Isabel at Gerlach, and replacing the interior with replicas, and then we'll have plenty vertical salad chilled for our camp.
