Making a dream come true...
After working in Athens and London as a graphic designer for more than a decade, I decided that I needed a change in life if I wanted to live as a happy person. Big city life was very stressful and the only thing making me forget my problems and feel relaxed was to attend yoga classes. So 2 years ago, I quit my job in London and returned to Corfu, my hometown, to find myself again.. and when Alice, my friend from London, came to visit me she loved the place so much that decided to quit her job and come to stay!
For many years I had a dream in my head to create a place, in that earthly heaven called Corfu, for people to come and have the holidays of a lifetime while practicing yoga on the beach, in an open relaxing space, so they can forget everything and clean their minds and souls! Together with Alice we said it is now or never...and thats how it started...
We are now halfway to make our dream come true. We rented a big villa by the sea for the summer of 2016, Alice deals with the promotion and the teachers and my role is to redecorate the villa making everything from scratch (furniture, garden, interior decoration). But there are some things that we can't do by ourselves and that's where we need your help.. We need you to help us make the place a perfect yoga holiday destination for everyone who wants to come and be part of our adventure!
What We Need & What You Get
What we need from you is to help us buy the equipment we need to make our guests feel comfortable while they practice their yoga. Specifically we need to build a 40 square meters wooden pergola for the rainy days and build, in same dimentions, a wooden deck on the beach. Additionally we need to buy 15 sunbeds with waterproof pillows, 10 big umbrellas to protect our guests from the Greek strong sun and 15 bicycles for everyone to enjoy the ride around the island!
In return you'll get yoga mats with our logo, amazing baskets full of Greek products like herbs from our own garden, a bottle of local olive oil, olive soap and a beeswax creme. Also you have the chance to get 1 week free holidays in a place you helped become unique!!!
If we don't meet our goal, we ll use the money to cover as much expenses as we can.. and if we exceed our goal we'll use the rest of the money for marketing, legal fees and buy more flowers for our huge garden.
