Is a short foreign-film, and a direct excerpt from Ana Lily’s award-winning feature script, THE STONES, a drama about the lives of teenagers in modern-day Tehran. KETAB will screen as part of a special presentation of THE STONES this spring at the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.
Synopsis,
KETAB follows Saeed (played by Golzari), a 25 yr old Iranian guy who is working-class in modern-day Tehran, Iran. He goes to the bookstore to buy a book, and when as we follow him home to dinner with his family, we realize Saeed has a secret agenda and the book plays a central role.
