Le Duet is singer Jessica Vautor and guitarist Marcel Camargo, you might know us from The Brazil You Never Heard or know Marcel from Michael Bublé. We're using Indiegogo as a platform to invite you to be a part of a unique experience, experiment and product.
Ok, we're not just inviting you, we actually NEED you. And not just for your money, but also for that. We at Le Duet have been trying for years to capture the spontaneous creative magic that happens in live shows and put that in a record, but it's just not the same without an audience. Our audiences are, in essence, the third member of our group. So we thought we should try putting on a show inside Seahorse Sound recording studios; that way we can behave the same way we do when we play live but walk away with a record in our hands.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
Besides making this dream record possible - both from an artistic and financial standpoint - you would have the chance to see something special in a small, intimate setting. We're also going to make this a great hang, with eats and drinks for you and good company :).
Since we can only have a very limited number of seats in the audience, only a few people will be able to actually be there. If you are not able to get a seat for this show we hope you'll enjoy the record and videos from this night, both will be available in digital format.
VIP's: if you are one of our heroes and you bought a VIP seat we will make sure you have the best seats in the house, we'll also have free valet service set up for you and we will invite you to an exclusive meet and greet before and after the show where we'll have the time to socialize, talk about music and offer you top shelf delectable food and drinks.
WANNA KNOW ABOUT FINANCES?
We don't expect to make any money here, in fact, we would be overjoyed to break even! To do that we're looking for roughly $500 for the studio/personnel for the night, $500 for mixing and $500 for royalty fees for releasing tunes that we didn't write ourselves. These are estimates and might be on the low side. That said, if everyone is feeling inspired and wants to do donate more, please do! We're gonna be doing more of these shows in the future and any extra money will be reinvested in further festivities.
