Short Summary
LSB è una serie web che racconta le storie di un gruppo di giovani ragazze lesbiche. L'obiettivo del nostro progetto è far capire l'universalità di certe dinamiche: da un lato, sensibilizzare lo spettatore alle difficoltà che una ragazza lesbica vive nella società italiana di oggi, dall'altro portare all'immedesimazione con quello che raccontiamo, perché chiunque può ritrovarsi nelle storie delle nostre protagoniste, al di là della loro sessualità.
Perché aiutarci
Le due stagioni online sul nostro canale sono state totalmente autoprodotte dalle due registe, ma per continuare il progetto abbiamo bisogno del vostro aiuto. Noi crediamo sia importante andare avanti, perché la tematica lesbica continua ad essere un tabu nel mainstream e solo rivoluzionando dal basso possiamo far sentire la nostra voce. E' il popolo del web che ha la possibilità di cambiare le cose e nel nostro piccolo ci proviamo, ma abbiamo bisogno che tanti condividano il nostro pensiero. Un piccolo contributo al nostro progetto può significare molto di più.
The Impact
La nostra serie si avvale del web come mezzo di diffusione. E' nel web che si trovano spesso esempi di progetti che sentono il bisogno di sperimentare, tecniche e tematiche. Una webserie è un prodotto che difficilmente vedrete al cinema, ma spesso, nella sua interezza, ha la durata di un film e ha bisogno di tante persone che ci lavorino. Noi abbiamo prodotto 2 stagioni da 12 episodi, 4 ore di storia e tanto duro lavoro. La troupe della seconda stagione era ridotta all'osso: trucco, costumi, fotografia, audio e operatore video. Tutti hanno dato il meglio affinché il prodotto avesse una buona qualità. Pe la terza stagione aggiungeremo qualche persona in più nel cast tecnico, per chiudere in bellezza la trilogia di LSB. La troupe crescerà anche nel cast artistico e quindi i costi di produzione cresceranno. Per non parlare di attrezzature, spostamenti, fabbisogno scenico, pasti, location, permessi...
La vostra donazione, anche piccola, per noi sarà importante. Abbiamo pensato a dei premi per ogni taglio di contributo. Sono premi simbolici, che non riusciranno a dare la misura della nostra riconoscenza se raggiungiamo il GOAL. Perché quest'anno solo se riusciremo a raccogliere la cifra richiesta partiremo con la produzione.
Short Summary
LSB is a web series about a circle of lesbian friends.
Our target is to show the universal dynamics of relationships: on the one hand sensitize people towards the hurdles that a lesbian girl still lives nowadays in Italy, on the other hand we want to lead our audience to empathize with these girls;as there is a universality to the situations they find themselves in, regardless of sexuality.
Why help us
The two seasons you can see on our Youtube channel are completely self produced by the two directors, but now to carry on with this project we need your backing. Lesbian cases are still a taboo in Italian main stream TV and Film, so for this reason we consider it essential to go on with this project. A revolution from the bottom up is the purpose: the web is the place. Here we have the chance to speak loud and clear and we do it in our own small way. But now we need your support. Your small contribution is a big chance for us to reach a wider audience and help share our important message of equality.
The Impact
Our series in available on youtube. The Web gave us the opportunity to experiment with both technique and themes. You can’t watch a web series atthe cinema, nevertheless it requires a decent crew and takes the same length of time as a low budget movie to make. We have produced 2 seasons and shared 12 episodes so far, resulting in 4 hours of strong plot, characters and lots of hard work. The crew was light, only make up, costume, lighting designer (cinematography) and sound; but everyone gave their best to guarantee a good quality product. For the third series we are going to increase the cast and fill out the crew so that we have a full creative team on board, this will enable us to create the highest quality series possible for the last season of LSB. As the cast and the crew will increase the production costs will be heavier. It will need to cover cameras and equipment, travel, location hire, props, costume and lights.
