Mr. Delicious Snack Bar is a family owned small food business that has touched the hearts of millions of visitors and locals 7 days a week, from its opening in the year 1981 until today. Mr. Delicious is located on the white sands of Enterprise Beach also called "Miami Beach" in beautiful Barbados.
What makes Mr. Delicious such a delicacy is its homemade style of freshly prepared deliciously flavored "Bajan" or "Barbadian" food, drinks and desserts. The love and art of Barbadian food is rapidly being lost to fast-food chains and hotel brands across the island. However, Mr. Delicious has maintained that local love for its food and its true bajan heritiage and has drawn customers worldwide to return annually and tell others of the Fish cakes, Flying Fish Cutters, Roti and other delightful items on the menu, passing on this culinary enjoyment on for generations.

This campaign through your contribution is the first step to ensuring that Mr. Delicious authentic Barbadian food and drinks is accessible across the island, in addition to its home location at Miami Beach.
Taking Mr. Delicious mobile will help save the business overall, which has been severely affected by the 2015 sargassum seaweed epidemic at Miami Beach Barbados and widespread Environmental & Ecological disaster througout the Caribbean.
(10% of the proceeds will be used to give a special thank you gift to Arthur who worked immensely long unpaid hours daily to clean the entire mountains of seaweed and help rescue Miami Beach in Barbados from day one, while inspiring many others to join in the rescue - we all owe him our deepest gratitude)
This campaign to take Mr. Delicious mobile will also allow visitors to enjoy delicious food & drinks at different beaches, help local customers to access Mr. Delicious Food Truck at events as well as bring back traditional great tasting local food back to the communities while employing more Barbadians.
What We Need & What You Get
The entire cost of a smaller Mr. Delicious Food Trailer has been quoted at $25,000 USD ($50,000 BBD). Our campaign goal is $30,000 USD which will be used in the building and conversion of the new Food Truck/Trailer and Arthur's Thank You Gift, an additional $10,000 USD will be borrowed seperately for:
1, Purchasing Equipment: Stove, Generator, Freezer, Hot Box, Fridge, Kitchen Utensils and other cooking equipment
2. Making it Eco-friendly: Using solar panels to supplement the electricity required
