INTRODUCING HORIZON
Blue Sky Solar Racing at the University of Toronto recently unveiled its newest solar car, Horizon. Horizon was designed and built by a group of passionate, dedicated undergraduate students and will compete in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2015, a 3,000km endurance race across the Australian outback. We will be the only Canadian team competing against 45 teams from 25 countries around the world but we need your help to ship Horizon to Australia!

WHAT IS BLUE SKY SOLAR RACING?
Blue Sky Solar Racing is an entirely student-run initiative at the University of Toronto that aims to challenge conventional ideas on education, transportation, and sustainability through the design and construction of solar powered vehicles. Through this project, students gain hands-on experience on a large scale multidisciplinary project working with cutting edge technologies from high efficiency solar cells to new manufacturing techniques.
Since 1997, Blue Sky Solar Racing has designed and built 7 solar vehicles and entered the World Solar Challenge 4 times.
